Italian architect, Vincenzo Provenzano, currently lives and works in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, as Chief Architect at UDG (Urban Design Group), an interior design and architecture firm specializing in high-end residential, commercial and retail projects.

Born in Alcamo, Italy in 1974, Vincenzo exhibited a talent for music and passion for architecture at a young age. In 1997 he received a Diploma in Classical Piano from the Conservatory, A. Scontrino of Trapani, Italy, and later graduated with a Masters degree in Architecture at the University of Palermo.

After initial training with local practices, Vincenzo went to Florence where he specialized in Sustainability and Environmentally Compatible Architecture. Later he worked for a two years in Milan, Italy as architect for the architecture and interior design firm, ZonaRimozione. In 2010 Vincenzo moved to Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he joined the UDG team initially as Senior Architect, and in 2012 was promoted to Chief Architect.

With the move to Saudi Arabia came new challenges and opportunities within a diverse range of projects in terms of scale and budgets. Being Chief Architect for such a young firm that is constantly expanding as UDG, Vincenzo finds continual opportunity to gain a larger share of the Saudi and Middle Eastern market by offering quality architectural design driven by a unique approach to architectural practice.
